Assistant General Manager (AGM)
High-Volume Full-Service Restaurant & Tavern – Rhode Island
$65,000 per year based on experience Bonus Potential- 6 month Review
Are you a high-energy restaurant leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment? We are looking for a driven Assistant General Manager to help lead a busy, iconic full-service restaurant and tavern.

What You’ll Do:
- Serve as Manager on Duty, running smooth and profitable shifts while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Oversee daily operations including staffing, scheduling, and maintaining the highest standards of service and quality.
- Manage labor costs and budgets — create efficient schedules and control expenses without sacrificing great service.
- Lead, coach, and develop a talented team of servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
- Train and mentor new hires, helping them grow into strong contributors.
- Partner with the General Manager on staffing needs, performance management, and driving restaurant profitability.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years of restaurant management experience (high-volume full-service preferred).
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, positive approach.
- Passion for great food, service, and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Ability to thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand/walk for long periods, bend, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs.
