Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper / Laundry aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience hospital settings, with a strong background in custodial and housekeeping management. This position offers an opportunity to showcase your cleaning skills in various environments. This position does require weekend availability.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and equipment for different surfaces
- Ensure all rooms and common areas are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues
- Wash, dry and fold linens and hang personal clothing
- Deliver personal clothing to resident rooms
- Maintain par levels of linens on units
Requirements
- Prior experience in housekeeping, custodial work, or laundry is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
