Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve flooring quality
- Ensure all sanitation standards are met by disinfecting surfaces, fixtures, and high-touch areas regularly
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to residents’ or guests’ requests for additional cleaning or assistance
- Manage custodial tasks including waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment in good working order
- Support housekeeping management with inventory checks and reporting supply needs to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and steamers
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture if needed
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining hygienic environments
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor
- Prior experience with laundry operations and floor care techniques is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
