What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Buffet Attendant position at Residence Inn by Marriott?
Duties:
- Must be morning person 5am on weekdays 6am on weekends. Day ends around noon.
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet for guests
- Ensure all food items are fresh, properly displayed, and replenished as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment
- Greet guests and provide excellent customer service
- Assist with food service during breakfast hours
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper hygiene standards
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to management
- Assist with catering events or special functions as needed
Skills:
- Previous experience in culinary, catering, or food service is preferred
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic meat cutting skills may be required for certain positions
- Understanding of food safety regulations and willingness to follow proper sanitation practices
