Milgard Windows & Doors is looking for a Powder Coat Finishing Operator to join our Swing Shift team in Fife, WA.
This hands‑on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, quality finishes, and teamwork in a fast‑paced production environment.
What You’ll Do
As a Powder Coat Finishing Operator, you will play a critical role in product quality by:
- Operating and supporting powder coating and finishing processes for aluminum/fiberglass components
- Preparing materials through cleaning, masking, hanging, coating, curing, and inspection
- ✅ Ensuring finished products meet quality, appearance, and durability standards
- Supporting production goals including On‑Time Delivery, Quality, Safety, Scrap Reduction, and Efficiency
- ️ Following standard work instructions and work orders accurately
- Adhering to all safety protocols and wearing required PPE
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe powder coat and work area
What You Bring
- 1 year of experience in powder coating, painting, manufacturing, or industrial finishing (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure
- ➗ Basic math skills, including fractions
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted
- Willingness to learn, follow processes, and work as part of a team
