Machine Operator – Day Shift
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Milgard Windows & Doors is seeking a Machine Operator for our Day Shift in Fife, WA. This role is ideal for individuals with hands‑on manufacturing experience who are comfortable working around machinery, following standardized processes, and consistently producing high‑quality output.

- ️ What You’ll Do
In this role, you will support our fiberglass lineal production operation by:
- Operating and monitoring production equipment according to standard work instructions
- ️ Loading and unloading materials and adjusting machine settings as trained
- ✅ Performing quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Supporting production goals including On‑Time Delivery, Quality, Units per Man Hour, Scrap Reduction, and Safety
- ️ Using hand and power tools to support machine operation and material handling
- Following all safety procedures, lockout/tagout guidelines, and PPE requirements
- Keeping equipment and work areas clean, organized, and operating safely
What You Bring
- 1 year of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
(Production, warehouse, fiberglass, painting, or industrial equipment experience is a plus) - ️ Mechanical aptitude and comfort working around machinery
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow work instructions
- ➗ Basic math skills, including fractions
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- ✅ Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a team‑oriented mindset
