What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead/Senior FP&A Analyst position at Midwest Executive Search Group?
The FP&A Lead serves as a visible finance partner to executive leadership, business teams, and key stakeholders with responsibility for financial planning and analysis, forecasting, financial modeling, decision support, financial performance tracking, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create and present insightful monthly and quarterly financial reporting that highlights key business levers, root cause variance analysis, and provides recommendations to enhance financial performance
- Assist the Finance Director in the creation of business performance presentations for executive leadership and global business teams
- Coordinate bi-monthly forecast through creating and publishing results
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and support special projects, including transformation initiatives, capital investments, M&A, business integrations, and cost management
- Lead continuous enhancement and maintenance of financial and business models
- Develop standardized and automated financial reporting tools that enhance analytical capability, efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related business degree
- MBA, CMA, or CPA a plus
- 4 years of progressive and related experience gained from dynamic, fast pace global environments
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Competency with ERP systems (SAP, SAP S/4HANA), data analysis, and consolidated financial reporting tools
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify and challenge assumptions
- Ability to compile and format information for effective analysis and presentation
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
