What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Intelligence Manager position at Midwest Executive Search Group?
Reporting into the CFO organization, the Business Intelligence Manager will drive the business intelligence strategy and related process development initiatives that deliver comprehensive, actionable data reporting and analysis for domestic and global leadership teams to evaluate key performance metrics and correlate current or future actions aimed at improving top/bottom line results. The ideal candidate has successful experience serving as a bridge between corporate, global, and site level teams across IT, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, Engineering, R&D, and Finance functions, facilitating the development of a scalable and user-friendly BI platform.
Key areas of ownership:
- Conduct full life cycle analysis from requirements gathering, business analysis, and design to implementation of ideas and processes
- Interpret data and analyze results using data mining and statistical techniques from SAP ERP data to set up predictive analysis models and reports
- Streamline existing and introduce enhanced reporting and analysis solutions that leverage complex data sources derived from multiple internal systems
- Look for process automation opportunities and partner with various teams to implement business transformation ideas
- Partner with business teams to acquire data from primary or secondary data sources or to build data repositories
- Collaborate across regions and functional teams to provide analytics support for recurring business operating mechanisms, as well as ad-hoc, time sensitive requests to advance key initiatives
- Help to define standardized reporting and ensure data source integrity for high fidelity analytics
- Translate business intelligence into concise presentation formats to guide discussion and critical decision making for intended audience
Experience and qualifications:
- 7 years in business intelligence development and process transformation
- Advanced experience in SAP, SAP S/4HANA
- Proven ability to drive requirements elicitation and practice the design thinking lifecycle
- Experience with relational and dimensional datasets, data warehouses, and ETL techniques to deliver BI solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences
- Demonstrable ability to establish trusted, effective relationships across diverse sets of partners
- Analytical and creative problem solver, and commitment to data integrity
- A passion for understanding the customer perspective and using data to drive better decision-making

Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
