Position Overview:

Midea America is seeking a high-performing National Account Manager to lead the Target business with a primary focus on Small Appliances and continued expansion across omnichannel platforms.

 

This role will own an established and growing business while identifying new opportunities to accelerate growth in-store, online, and through Target Plus. The ideal candidate will combine strong account management fundamentals with a growth mindset, merchant relationship skills, and the ability to turn insights into execution.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, own, and lead the strategic business plan for Target across Small Appliance categories.
  • Manage and grow the existing business while identifying new opportunities to expand assortment, distribution, and market share.
  • Drive omnichannel growth across stores, Target.com, and Target Plus.
  • Build annual joint business plans focused on profitable growth, promotional strategy, item productivity, and long-term category expansion.
  • Identify opportunities to improve digital shelf performance, conversion, content quality, ratings/reviews, and online visibility.
  • Partner with customer merchants and cross-functional teams to strengthen relationships and unlock growth initiatives.
  • Monitor account performance, promotional effectiveness, inventory trends, and competitive activity to drive action plans.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including product management, marketing, supply chain, finance, operations, and service.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and demand planning to support in-stock excellence and promotional readiness.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally, helping align priorities and improve speed to market.
  • Achieve assigned KPIs for sales growth, profitability, share gains, and strategic objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of strategic sales or national account management experience with large retail customers.
  • Experience working with Target merchants and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven success managing and growing complex retail accounts.
  • Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in small appliances, consumer durables, housewares, or CPG preferred.
  • Strong understanding of omnichannel retail, eCommerce, and marketplace growth models.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership mentality.
  • Self-starter with grit, curiosity, and a bias for action.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-growth environment.
