- As an Assistant Teacher at Midcoast Maine Community Action, your role is to support the lead teacher in creating a fun and engaging learning environment for young children, helping them grow and learn every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher with classroom activities and lessons.
- Help prepare materials and set up learning spaces.
- Support children during playtime and educational activities.
- Encourage positive behavior and help manage classroom dynamics.
- Communicate with parents and caregivers about children's progress.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning sessions.
