What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor position at MID-WEST TEXTILE, LLC?

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and coordinate the activities of production employees, including assigning tasks, providing training, and monitoring performance.
Plan and organize people schedules against production schedules to ensure productivity while optimizing resources and minimizing waste.
Work with HR to ensure labor needs for temporary workers.
Manage leads to ensure department productivity.
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and make adjustments as necessary to meet quality targets.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees.
Notify maintenance when equipment requires maintenance or repair.
Maintains appropriate levels of tools needed to ensure the effective operation of the El Paso production facility.
Train employees to enhance their skills and capabilities and provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

3 years of experience supervising people and production processes and programs.
High school diploma or GED.
Bi-lingual in English & Spanish is required.
Attention to detail and problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers and external partners.
Excellent communication and demonstrated willingness to learn.
Ability to work at a high rate of productivity.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask.
