We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Clerk to join our hospitality team. The Front Desk Clerk will serve as the first point of contact for guests, managing reservations, check-ins, and guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm, welcoming experience
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using multi-line phone systems
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Assist guests with concierge services, including providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions
- Maintain guest records and ensure data accuracy in hotel management systems
- Resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to address guest needs
- Uphold high standards of hospitality management and guest relations throughout all interactions
- Perform night audit duties as needed, ensuring financial accuracy and reporting
Experience
- Prior experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus, especially in languages commonly spoken by our guests
- Knowledge of front desk procedures, hotel management software, and multi-line phone systems preferred
- Experience in guest services within a resort or hotel environment is highly desirable
- Ability to handle night audit responsibilities and manage guest relations effectively
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and courtesy
