Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and common areas while ensuring that all laundry services are performed to the highest standards. This position is essential in providing our guests with a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing techniques.
- Handle dry cleaning items with care and follow proper procedures for processing.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in good condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in the organization of laundry facilities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or laundry services is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of laundry equipment is a plus.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
