Position Overview

A high-volume resort and casino is seeking reliable On-Call Banquet Setup Attendants to support event operations. This role is responsible for preparing banquet spaces, ensuring all event setups are completed accurately and on time, and assisting with breakdown and reset between functions.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, thrive in fast-paced environments, and take pride in attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event orders (tables, chairs, linens, staging, dance floors, etc.)
• Break down and reset event spaces efficiently for upcoming functions
• Move, arrange, and store furniture and equipment as needed
• Ensure all event spaces meet presentation and cleanliness standards
• Follow setup diagrams and instructions with accuracy
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment when required
• Communicate with banquet and event staff to ensure smooth transitions between events
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous banquet setup, hospitality, or event experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (tables, chairs, equipment)
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work flexible, on-call shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under time constraints
