Superintendent (Multi-Family Construction)
Location: Summit County / Mountain Region (outside Denver Metro, CO)
Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 annually

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead multiple multi-family construction projects in the mountain region outside of the Denver Metro area. This role requires a strong field leader with commercial general contractor experience who can manage daily jobsite operations, oversee subcontractors and self-perform crews, and deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Experience working in high-elevation or mountain environments is highly preferred. Candidates based in or familiar with Summit County and surrounding areas are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all job site activities from project start through completion
- Oversee subcontractors and self-perform crews to ensure timely and quality execution
- Coordinate daily with foremen and field teams to maintain productivity and workflow
- Ensure all project goals are met in alignment with plans, specifications, budget, and schedule
- Conduct and lead weekly subcontractor meetings focused on schedule, safety, and quality
- Monitor and manage RFIs, change orders, delays, and additional scope requirements
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely execution of plans
- Partner closely with Project Managers and internal teams to address project updates, risks, and changes
- Assist with project closeout planning, including coordination 30 days prior to completion
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, owners, and public entities while representing the project professionally
- Develop and execute strategies to keep projects on or ahead of schedule and within budget
- Track and manage self-perform work productivity and cost control
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and jobsite procedures
Leadership & Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate up to 100 field employees and subcontractors
- Provide hands-on leadership, direction, and accountability across all trades on-site
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent with a Commercial General Contractor
- Proven experience managing multi-family construction projects (highly preferred)
- Strong background in coordinating subcontractors, schedules, and field operations
- Experience across project types such as commercial, hospitality, education, or mixed-use preferred
- Familiarity with high-elevation / mountain construction environments is a strong plus
- Proficiency with construction management tools such as Procore (preferred)
- Experience with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software (preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in an active construction environment with varying site conditions

- Active construction jobsite setting, including outdoor and high-elevation conditions
- Exposure to typical construction noise and physical jobsite activity
