Micone Staffing Resources is partnering with a growing and innovative manufacturing company in Reno, NV to hire a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, contributing to product development, and driving continuous improvement.
Position Overview
The Engineer will support design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes and products. This role will collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and leadership teams to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve mechanical or electrical systems and components
- Support manufacturing operations with troubleshooting and process optimization
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve technical issues
- Assist with product development, testing, and validation
- Analyze data to improve performance, reduce waste, and increase efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Maintain documentation for designs, processes, and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 1–5 years of relevant experience (manufacturing or production preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) preferred
- Electrical systems, controls, or automation experience is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
