Job Description
As the VDC Manager, reporting into senior project leadership and the VDC function, you will take ownership of digital project execution from pursuit through closeout.
- Lead VDC execution across multiple projects from preconstruction through completion
- Develop and implement project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs)
- Drive model-based coordination across architectural, structural, and MEP systems
- Facilitate clash detection, issue tracking, and coordination meetings with project stakeholders
- Oversee model QA/QC to ensure constructability, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements
- Support field teams with model-based workflows including 4D scheduling, logistics, and layout
- Mentor junior VDC staff and contribute to departmental process standardisation and growth
The Successful Applicant
For The VDC Manager, We Are Seeking
- 3-5 years of experience in VDC / BIM within commercial, industrial, or technical construction
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and project sequencing
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and BIM coordination workflows
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar platforms preferred
- Proven ability to lead coordination efforts across multiple disciplines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, and Trade Partners
- Experience mentoring junior VDC professionals is highly desirable
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Texas and beyond
