Job Description
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to ensure designs meet quality and compliance standards
- Develop, maintain, and improve quality procedures and documentation
- Support PMP requirements and ensure adherence to customer quality flow downs
- Deliver training programs and materials related to quality processes
- Monitor and drive continuous improvement of systems and operational processes
- Ensure supplier/vendor compliance with internal quality standards
- Analyze quality data and provide recommendations to maintain and enhance standards
- Perform inspections using various tools and equipment to verify product conformance
- Take ownership of quality initiatives while working independently
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2-3 years of experience in a quality engineering or similar role
- Strong knowledge of AS9100 or comparable quality standards
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications
- Hands-on experience with inspection tools, including CMM
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive mindset
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance
