Job Description
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's management systems, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 programs.
- Plan, conduct, and manage internal audits while driving corrective and preventative actions to improve compliance and system effectiveness.
- Host and manage external audits from customers, registrars, and regulatory organizations.
- Maintain quality manuals, procedures, standards, and documentation to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and organizational efficiency.
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective action activities related to customer complaints, nonconformances, and quality issues.
- Provide training and support on management systems, quality standards, and compliance processes.
- Conduct layered process audits and report findings to management teams.
- Serve as the primary quality contact for OEM customers and manage day-to-day customer quality requirements.
- Analyze returned products and drive quality and design improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and submit PPAP documentation and International Material Data System (IMDS) requirements.
- Participate in OEM project meetings and production reviews to address quality concerns and customer expectations.
- Facilitate FMEAs, risk assessments, and core quality tool implementation.
- Support environmental compliance requests, customer surveys, and sustainability-related initiatives.
- Mentor and support Quality Associates while promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience supporting quality management systems and compliance programs.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.
- Auditing certifications and at least 5 years of auditing experience.
- Experience preparing PPAP submissions and working with OEM customers.
- Strong background in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality systems management.
- Familiarity with FMEA, risk analysis, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and IMDS processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with M3 ERP is a plus.
