Job Description
Field Leadership & Execution
- Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
- Manage field teams, subcontractors, and daily operations across multiple phases.
- Drive project schedules, sequencing, and milestone achievement.
- Ensure adherence to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (look-ahead and master schedules).
- Coordinate subcontractor work to maintain workflow efficiency and avoid delays.
- Work closely with Project Managers to align field activities with overall schedule and budget.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and maintain a culture of accountability on-site.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure quality control standards are met.
- Lead site meetings, safety briefings, and subcontractor coordination meetings.
The Successful Applicant
- 8-15 years of construction field experience, with at least 3-5 years as a Lead/Senior Superintendent.
- Strong background in multifamily construction, including:
- Garden-style apartments
- Wrap/podium-style developments
- Wood-frame and light gauge steel construction
- Experience managing large-scale projects ($20M-$70M ).
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors, schedules, and jobsite logistics.
- Willingness and ability to travel full-time.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Base Salary: $120,000 - $150,000
- Total Compensation: $140,000 - $180,000
- Bonus: Project and performance-based incentives
- Per Diem: $100-$150/day (when traveling)
