Job Description
- Lead day‑to‑day field operations on large, ground‑up commercial projects with heavy structural scope.
- Oversee concrete, steel, and structural sequencing activities on complex builds.
- Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, design teams, and ownership representatives.
- Manage site safety, quality control, logistics, and manpower planning.
- Partner closely with project management and senior field leadership to drive schedule adherence.
- Conduct daily site walks, weekly coordination meetings, and milestone planning sessions.
- Serve as a customer‑focused leader, representing the company professionally at all times.
- Mentor and lead Assistant Superintendents and field staff.
- Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and company standards.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Structural Superintendent Should Have
- 10 years of experience as a Superintendent on ground‑up commercial construction.
- Extensive experience with large‑scale or complex projects; high‑rise or mixed‑use experience strongly preferred.
- Strong background in structural work (concrete, steel, sequencing, foundations).
- Customer‑centric mindset with strong communication and leadership skills.
- Comfortable leading large field teams and coordinating multiple trades.
- Stable work history preferred.
- Not seeking candidates with strictly multifamily backgrounds; diverse commercial experience is ideal.
- Open to local projects with occasional travel, as needed.
