Job Description
The Senior Superintendent will be responsible for:
- Oversee and coordinate all subcontractor activities in partnership with the main office.
- Schedule, attend, and track all required inspections.
- Interpret architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and landscape drawings and specifications.
- Review shop drawings and inspection reports; manage and track RFIs.
- Complete daily reports and capture progress photos.
- Utilize core software tools (Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel) and manage document workflows, including PDFs.
- Collaborate with design teams, subcontractors, project managers, and local officials to resolve issues and prevent conflicts.
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and uphold strict safety standards.
The Successful Applicant
The Senior Superintendent Will Have
- 10 years of experience in large-scale commercial ground-up construction
- Experience with hospitals, MOBs, or other healthcare projects valued at $25M
- Working knowledge of ICRA standards
- Strong understanding of the full construction lifecycle
- Proficient in reviewing and interpreting construction documents, including drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication skills with management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients
- Highly self-driven and motivated
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
- Able to manage multiple responsibilities and handle diverse tasks to deliver projects on schedule
The Senior Superintendent will receive:
- $120,000 - $150,000 base salary, based on experience
- $850 monthly car allowance
