Job Description
The Superintendent will be responsible for:
- Leading day-to-day on-site operations for a $5M library construction project
- Overseeing both renovation and base building scopes with precision and safety
- Developing and managing project schedules using tools like P6
- Coordinating subcontractors, trades, and field teams to ensure timely delivery
- Maintaining strict adherence to OSHA and site safety standards
- Collaborating with the Project Executive and broader project team
- Utilizing Procore and Bluebeam to manage documentation and communication
- Managing potential evening or weekend work as project demands evolve
- Ensuring quality control and project milestones are consistently achieved
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Superintendent Should Have
- 10 years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
- Proven experience managing renovation and ground-up projects up to $20M
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and trade coordination
- Proficiency in P6, Procore, and Bluebeam
- OSHA certification with a strong safety-first mindset
- Background in the trades or hands-on field experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and drive project progress autonomously
- Flexibility to accommodate extended hours if needed
