Job Description
The Project Manager/Senior Project Manager - Civil Sitework - NoVA will:
- Lead full lifecycle management of site development projects from kickoff through closeout
- Coordinate project startup tasks including permitting, submittals, utilities, and safety planning
- Partner with superintendents to resolve field challenges and maintain schedules
- Manage project financials including billing, forecasting, and cost control
- Develop and track change orders while maintaining accurate project documentation
- Oversee subcontractors and coordinate across clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Procure materials and collaborate with estimating teams for accurate project execution
- Monitor production metrics and optimize performance across active projects
- Prepare quantity takeoffs and pricing for additional scope or changes
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and service
The Successful Applicant
The Project Manager/Senior Project Manager - Civil Sitework - NoVA will have:
- 5-10 years of experience in site development, civil, or sitework construction
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing projects end-to-end
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, production tracking, and project controls
- Experience with budgeting, billing, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents
- Proficiency in Excel and construction/project management software
- Excellent communication skills with clients and cross-functional teams
- Experience with wet utilities strongly preferred
