Duration: Short-Term Project

Roles & Responsibilities:

·        Lead the execution of the Audio - Visual (A-V) Refresh Project.

·        Ensure that all milestones—from staging through final installation and configuration - are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with customer’s security protocols.

·        Responsible for the technical design, hardware verification, and physical blueprinting of the AV refresh across the 5 Offices and 1 Training Room.

·        Ensure the system meets NETCOM and DISA J6 security standards, selecting only compliant COTS hardware.

·        Architect a system that explicitly utilizes 4K COTS displays without embedded wireless (Wi-Fi / Bluetooth) capabilities to comply with strict secure-facility regulations.

·        Design the dual-enclave infrastructure to allow separate peripheral connections mapping to both NIPR and SIPR workstations.

·        Design the DSP layout (AEC and noise reduction) and PTZ automated camera placements to guarantee full room coverage and auto-framing capabilities.

·        Ensure that no planned hardware component requires unauthorized software or drivers on government-furnished systems.

·        Write, load, and test the custom code required to run the touch-panel control systems in the conference table and podium areas.

·        Responsible for programming the user interface to control audio levels, manage camera presets, and switch presentation inputs.

·        Program the control system to execute the critical transition between NIPR and SIPR modes in 15 to 30 seconds or less, ensuring clear visual feedback on the control panel regarding which enclave is active.

·        Create an intuitive touch-panel layout that simplifies microphone muting, volume levels, camera preset management, and input switching.

·        Program control drivers for non-networked peripheral devices, ensuring seamless communication between the touch panel, DSP, cameras, and displays.

·        Oversee the physical on-site deployment, mounting, and wiring in Customer’s Training Rooms and Conference Room.

·        Coordinate on-site staging, hardware installation, cable management, and local testing.

·        Ensure that tasks align with the final engineered layouts.

·        Lead the physical installation of separate peripheral connections mapping to NIPR and SIPR workstations.

·        Responsible for the installation and physical mounting of 4K displays, DSP-driven ceiling/table microphones, and automated tracking PTZ cameras.

·        Ensure structural mounts, cable paths, and electrical connections adhere strictly to building codes and Customer’s safety guidelines.

·        Responsible for all tasks including cable pulls, termination, hardware mounting, and physical cleanup of the Training Rooms and Conference Room.

·        Securely mount 4K COTS displays, soundbars, camera tracking systems, and table/podium touch interfaces

·        Pull, route, label, and terminate copper, fiber, and control cabling through conduits, walls, and under-floor systems.

·        Deliver exceptionally clean, organized cable management within equipment racks, behind displays, and under tables.

·        De-install and prep legacy, end-of-life (EOL) Poly CODECs and older AV hardware for government disposal.

·        Responsible for physical asset tracking, inventory management, and pre-configuration logistics.

·        Ensure that the entire system performs strictly to the standards.

·        Acts as an independent verifier of system operation, switching times, and structural safety prior to official mission handoff to the Customer.

·        Run systematic post-installation and integration tests on both SIPR and NIPR peripheral environments.

·        Audit installed components to confirm that no unauthorized non-standard software or drivers were installed onto Government Furnished Equipment.

·        Document all test results in a System Validation Report to support the official "Mission Handoff".
