Job Description
- Manage multiple Life Science and laboratory projects throughout Greater Boston from inception through completion
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and risk management initiatives
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and senior leadership
- Coordinate design, permitting, procurement, and construction activities to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Review contractor proposals, change orders, schedules, and project documentation
- Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office to manage project reporting and communication
- Support business growth efforts through exceptional client service and relationship management
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Project Manager - Life Sciences Should Have
- 8 years of construction project management experience
- Previous experience working for a General Contractor (GC), Construction Manager (CM), or Owner's Project Management firm
- Strong laboratory, Life Science, or cGMP project experience is required
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline preferred
- Proven track record managing complex commercial construction projects
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
- Must be able to commute to Cambridge, MA on a full-time basis
- Base salary: $120,000 - $150,000
- Annual performance bonus (typically around 10%)
