Job Description
- Support day-to-day project coordination across all phases of construction from preconstruction through closeout
- Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project tracking logs to ensure accurate documentation and timely processing
- Maintain and organize project documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and updated plan sets
- Help prepare meeting agendas, take meeting minutes, and track follow-up action items to keep teams aligned
- Assist with procurement tracking, submittals, and coordination of long-lead materials and vendor communications
- Support schedule updates, progress tracking, and reporting efforts alongside the Project Manager and Superintendent
- Participate in jobsite walks, inspections, and quality control efforts to help ensure work meets project standards
- Assist in coordinating subcontractors and field activities to support smooth daily operations
- Document jobsite progress through reports, photos, and field notes for project records and communication
- Maintain organized project data within Procore and support use of Bluebeam and Microsoft Office for project execution
The Successful Applicant
- 1-5 years of commercial construction experience supporting project teams in the field or office
- Strong interest in managing construction projects from preconstruction through closeout with increasing responsibility
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail in document control, tracking logs, and project coordination
- Effective communicator with the ability to work closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors
- Comfortable supporting project meetings, taking notes, tracking action items, and maintaining accountability across teams
- Proactive problem-solver who is eager to learn and assist in resolving field and coordination issues
- Basic understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and change order processes
- Experience or familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
