Job Description
- Lead root‑cause analysis of field‑returned and in‑house failed units to identify failure modes
- Develop and implement containment actions, corrective actions, and preventive measures
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities across operations
- Track, measure, and report the long‑term effectiveness of corrective actions
- Partner with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues
- Support the design and improvement of fixtures, instrumentation, and test methods
- Communicate findings and improvement initiatives clearly across departments
- Contribute to achieving company‑wide quality and reliability performance targets
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Process Engineering (or similar)
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems such as gear trains, hydraulics, or rotating machinery
- Experience performing root‑cause analysis in a manufacturing environment
- Comfortable using Excel for calculations, data analysis, and visualization
- Experience creating and maintaining SOPs and process documentation
- Hands‑on, proactive problem solver with strong communication skills
- Meaningful ownership over quality investigations and improvements
- Hands‑on engineering role with real visibility across the organization
