Job Description
- Develop and manage detailed project estimates and budgets for property construction projects.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and budgets.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for preconstruction phases.
- Lead value engineering efforts to optimize project costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to gather accurate cost data and negotiate pricing.
- Prepare and present cost reports and recommendations to leadership and clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction methods to enhance estimating practices.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Sr Precon Manager/Estimator Should Have
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
- Proficiency in preconstruction software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
