Job Description
The Plant Manager will report into the Senior Director of Operations and be responsible for:
- Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors, CNC programmers, machinists, and production personnel.
- Foster a culture of safety, engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide overall leadership for machine shop operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and equipment utilization.
- Lead manufacturing operations supporting multiple customers and product lines in a dynamic contract manufacturing environment.
- Partner with Engineering and Program Management teams to support new product introductions and production launches.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production Planning, Procurement, and Operations teams to improve manufacturing performance.
- Lead capital equipment planning, justification, implementation, and facility improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to increase capability, capacity, quality, and operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant
- 10 years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably within a machine shop environment.
- Hands-on understanding of CNC milling, CNC turning, and precision machining operations.
- Proven leadership experience within a contract manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading supervisors, programmers, machinists, and production teams.
- Demonstrated success managing capital equipment and facility improvement projects.
- Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.
- Track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
