Job Description
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a multi-state workforce on a biweekly schedule.
- Ensure payroll is completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Oversee payroll reconciliations, audits, reporting, and payroll record maintenance.
- Administer wage garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, and other payroll deductions.
- Partner closely with HR, Finance, and operational leaders to resolve payroll-related matters.
- Maintain compliance with wage and hour laws, payroll tax requirements, and company policies.
- Handle sensitive employee information with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience working with UKG Ready.
- Strong background processing multi-state payroll for both hourly and salaried employees.
- Knowledge of payroll compliance, including garnishments, tax levies, and other involuntary deductions.
- Understanding of payroll taxes and state-specific wage and hour regulations.
- Ability to quickly learn new processes and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Prior healthcare, multi-site, or high-volume payroll experience is highly preferred.
