Job Description
- Design mechanical components, sub‑assemblies, and accessories using SolidWorks
- Create detailed production drawings
- Perform tolerance analysis and apply design for manufacturability and design for assembly principles
- Support new product development from initial concept through production release
- Lead engineering changes and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work directly with machining, finishing, assembly, and quality teams to support ongoing production
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes, fixtures, tooling, and work instructions
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective corrective actions
- Support cost reduction and efficiency initiatives while maintaining performance and quality

The Successful Applicant
A Successful Mechanical Engineer Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Three to seven or more years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in firearms, aerospace, defense, automotive, or precision machining industries is preferred
- Hands‑on experience with CNC machining and metal components is strongly preferred
