Job Description
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and support bid preparation
- Solicit and coordinate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Maintain and update cost databases and project records
- Support senior estimators in bid reviews and project handoffs
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or relevant experience)
- 0-3 years of experience in construction estimating or related role
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with estimating software is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the construction industry
- Competitive pay ranging from $72,000 to $97,000 annually.
