Our client is an award-winning hospitality firm that is expanding their business and HR team in New York City! They are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who is excited to join their team as an HR Coordinator, 5 days a week onsite.
Job Description
- Own and process weekly payroll for 200 hourly and salaried employees
- Manage payroll changes including new hires, terminations, and adjustments
- Deliver a seamless onboarding experience from offer through Day 1
- Act as a key HR contact for employee queries on payroll, benefits, and policies
- Support managers with documentation and employee relations matters
- Assist with recruiting coordination-posting roles, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews
The Successful Applicant
- 1 year of payroll experience in hospitality
- Strong understanding of labor laws and payroll best practices
- Experience with HRIS and timekeeping systems
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Able to work onsite, 5 days a week in Manhattan
