Client Details
Our client is looking for an Human Resources Business Partner for their mine in Green River, WY. Our client is a global company with a growing presence in the U.S. that specializes in the mining and glass industries. They carry out mining activities at about 70 mining sites and are an industry leader in the production of soda ash.
The HRBP will support the Wyoming location and serve as the main point of contact for employees and supervisors. The role is responsible for coaching managers on performance and discipline, resolving workplace conflicts, and ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies. The HRBP will also support investigations, drive employee engagement initiatives, and partner with leadership to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Candidates must have an HR background in manufacturing or a similar industry.

Description
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and workplace concerns.
- Coach and guide supervisors and managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee development.
- Conduct and document investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and workplace incidents in compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Partner with leadership to promote employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Support change management, communication, and workforce planning initiatives within the mine.
- Collaborate with colleagues on talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and other HR programs as needed.
Profile
- Extensive HR experience in manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's or HR certification preferred).
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations best practices, and HR compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to conduct investigations and handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism.
- Experience coaching and advising managers on performance management and employee development.
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization and influence plant leadership.
- Ability to be on-site in Green River, Wyoming full-time.
