Description
Continuous Improvement Lead - Aerospace, will:
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen events to drive immediate floor-level improvements
- Conduct Gemba walks and coach team members on identifying and eliminating waste
- Implement Lean tools such as Standard Work, SMED, 5S, and Visual Management
- Develop and execute Value Stream Maps (VSM) to identify improvement opportunities
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (DMAIC, PDCA, A3, Root Cause Analysis)
- Coordinate and support Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs) across departments
- Perform Lean maturity assessments and assist with site-level Lean planning
- Mentor and guide junior Lean team members, helping to build team capability
- Train cross-functional staff on Lean principles and sustainment practices
- Support phased rollout of Lean initiatives across campuses
- Collaborate with site and corporate leadership to align improvement goals
- Contribute to the long-term development of a global Lean program
- Onsite daily at our Amherst,NH facility
Profile
- Bachelor's Degree
- Previous experience in a quality, lean, or process engineer role preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Green/BlackBelt a plus
- Some proficiency or experience in core Lean tools: Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Standard Work, SMED, 5S, and Visual Management
- Strong data analysis skills using Excel, Minitab, and other analytical tools
- Track record of implementing sustainable continuous improvement initiatives

Salary : $95,000 - $125,000
