Estimator - Commercial and Residential Construction

The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects within the building and construction industry. This role requires strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach to ensure successful project execution.

Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for property construction projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and architects to ensure alignment on project scope and budget.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals for accuracy and cost-efficiency.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates and project costs for future reference.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Track market trends and pricing to provide accurate and competitive estimates.

A successful Estimator should have:

• Experience submitting $100M estimates.
• Proficiency in construction cost estimating software and tools.
