Job Description
- Lead engineering team and project execution activities
- Drive best practices in design, NPD, and documentation
- Manage estimating using ERP for cost and planning accuracy
- Review estimates for manufacturability and cost alignment
- Assign and support project and process engineering work
- Ensure development of tooling and process documentation
- Oversee NPD from design through first article delivery
- Implement value engineering and cost reduction strategies
- Provide technical input on estimates and project planning
- Manage ERP use for BOMs, routing, and configuration control
- Deliver project updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Plan team workload, staffing, and resource allocation
- Train, mentor, and develop engineering team members
- Support customer and vendor interactions and presentations
- Oversee engineering file and drawing management
- Drive continuous improvement and process optimization
- Analyze cost and process performance data for decisions
- Research and evaluate new manufacturing technologies
- Facilitate PFMEA and risk mitigation activities
- Lead performance management and career development

The Successful Applicant
A Successful Engineering Manager Should Have
- BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred
- 10 years of engineering experience
- Proven project ownership from concept to delivery
- Prior leadership or team management experience
- Strong knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing methods
- Experience with ERP systems and cost estimation
- Proficient in SolidWorks and MS Office
- Working knowledge of GD&T principles
- Strong problem‑solving and strategic planning skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Self‑starter with strong ownership mentality
