Description
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will report directly to a Project Manager and take responsibility for defined project scopes managed through subcontractor packages.
- Support the planning, execution, and financial performance of assigned construction scopes
- Manage subcontractor contracts, change orders, and pay applications
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, and document control to ensure timely resolution
- Track schedule impacts and cost exposure, escalating risks proactively
- Coordinate closely with field teams to support safe and efficient execution
- Assist with quality assurance, close‑out documentation, and client reporting
- Champion safety standards and project best practices throughout delivery

Profile
For the Assistant Project Manager role, we are seeking:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similar
- Approximately 3-6 years of experience with a General Contractor or Construction Manager
- Exposure to commercial construction projects with multiple subcontractor trades
- Strong understanding of contracts, change management, and cost controls
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office tools
- Confident communicator able to work with owners, consultants, and trade partners
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and motivated to progress into a Project Manager role
