We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting both customers and technicians in identifying, locating, and obtaining the correct automotive parts and accessories. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in person, by phone, and via email with their parts inquiries.
Advise and assist customers on the selection of appropriate parts and accessories for their vehicles.
Identify customer needs and recommend parts or alternative solutions based on availability and vehicle requirements.
Maintain accurate records of parts sales, orders, and inventory levels using company systems.
Order, receive, and store parts in an organized and efficient manner to maintain inventory integrity.
Ensure proper labeling and storage of all parts, maintaining cleanliness and order in the parts department.
Stay current with product information, changes in parts availability, and pricing updates from manufacturers and suppliers.
Collaborate with service technicians and other departments to ensure timely delivery and availability of required parts.
Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in periodic stock counts and audits.
