What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Coordinator - Commissioning position at Metson Group?
Job Summary:
The Commissioning Materials Coordinator plans and coordinates material or equipment deliveries arriving for Commissioning and stages them for delivery when they are needed. When Commissioning is active, there is a high volume of materials arriving which is very time sensitive, so their activities are segregated to ensure timely action and focus.
May also involve material returned to the warehouse from the platforms for storage until needed.
Communicates with vendors and platform to ensure efficient movement and on time deliveries.
Documents transfers, locations, movements and shipping documents.
Performs rigging, loading & unloading trucks when needed.
Requires HAZWOPER 8-hour training and certification, first-aid, CPR & AED training certifications and must know hand signals, California Hazardous Waste Management Certification.
Expected Hours of Work:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- This is a Non-Exempt position and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with California law.
- Overtime, including extended hours, weekends, or peak operational coverage, may be required based on business needs.
- Meal and rest periods will be provided in accordance with California labor law.
