Senior Licensed Superintendent – NYC (Midtown)
Top-ranked Engineering News-Record (ENR) Contractor of the Year is seeking a Senior Licensed Superintendent to join their team.
This is an opportunity to lead high-profile projects across a diverse portfolio, including ground-up and interior construction within the commercial, corporate, hospitality, residential, and healthcare sectors—often featuring high-end finishes and amenity spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site construction activities from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage subcontractors, field staff, and daily site operations
- Drive project schedules, sequencing, and logistics in complex urban environments
- Ensure full compliance with NYC DOB regulations, safety standards, and quality control
- Coordinate with project management teams, ownership, and design consultants
- Maintain strong site leadership and communication across all stakeholders
Requirements
- 10 years of construction experience in NYC
- Valid NYC DOB Superintendent License (required)
- Proven track record delivering both ground-up and interior projects
- Strong ground-up construction and structural experience highly preferred
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage complex, fast-paced jobs
- Experience working on high-end finishes and technically challenging builds
