Overview
A leading multi-manager hedge fund platform is seeking a highly driven and commercially minded Vice President, Asset Raising to join its global investor relations and capital raising team. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the firm’s institutional investor base and strengthening existing relationships across core markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead capital raising initiatives targeting institutional investors, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, and family offices
- Develop and execute strategic fundraising plans in partnership with senior leadership
- Build, maintain, and deepen long-term relationships with existing and prospective investors
- Deliver clear and compelling presentations outlining the firm’s investment strategies, performance, and risk framework
- Manage and coordinate investor due diligence processes, including responses to RFPs, DDQs, and ad hoc requests
- Collaborate with investment, product, and marketing teams to refine messaging and marketing materials
- Maintain a strong understanding of market dynamics, competitor positioning, and allocator trends
- Represent the firm at conferences, roadshows, and client meetings on a global basis
Requirements
- 7-15 years of experience in asset raising, investor relations, or capital introduction within hedge funds or alternative asset managers
- Demonstrated track record of successfully raising capital from institutional investors
- Strong knowledge of multi-manager hedge fund strategies and portfolio construction
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Established network of institutional allocator relationships is highly advantageous
- Strong commercial judgment and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFA, or equivalent qualification preferred
