As a Residential Care Associate, you’ll provide direct care to children and adolescents in a structured, supportive environment. You’ll facilitate therapeutic groups, recreational activities, and help residents navigate daily life with dignity and respect.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure resident safety and well-being through active supervision and documentation
- Lead and support therapeutic and recreational group activities
- Transport residents to appointments and community outings
- Collaborate with treatment teams and communicate relevant updates
- Intervene appropriately using behavior management techniques
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold resident rights
- Minimum age: 21
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or bachelor’s in human services preferred
- Experience with adolescents in residential care is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
- Ability to complete required training, background checks, and CPR certification
- Active role with standing, walking, and occasional bending
- On-site presence required
- Ability to communicate clearly and use a computer regularly
