Linux System Admin

·       Grant and disable access for employees into Unix/Linux security files and databases,

·       Troubleshoot Unix/Linux system and hardware problems, including on call remote support

·       and/or on-site support

·       Install and remove Unix/Linux equipment and hardware,

·       Analyze Unix/Linux system problems and system performance and suggest solutions,

·       Perform maintenance of system Scheduler, CRON,

·       Develop and maintain scripting procedures to automate manual processes,

·       Install and configure Power Term and dumb terminals,

·       System performance monitoring,

·       Coordinate with customer and technical staff in scheduling preventative and emergency maintenance activities,

·       Serve as task leader for projects assigned by the TO Manager
