About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a manufacturing company in Harlan, Iowa, to hire an 8Bar Roll Mill Operator to support production operations. This role is suited for someone with manufacturing or machine-operating experience who understands the importance of equipment setup, production consistency, workplace safety, and quality control.
What You’ll Do
- Operate roll mill and related production equipment used in the manufacturing process.
- Assist with machine setup and production adjustments according to established procedures.
- Monitor equipment operation to maintain product quality and consistent output.
- Inspect materials and finished components for defects or inconsistencies.
- Follow production specifications, work instructions, and safety procedures.
- Identify equipment issues or production irregularities and report them to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow established housekeeping standards.
- Work with production team members to meet manufacturing schedules and quality expectations.
Qualifications
- Previous machine-operating or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Experience with roll mills, extrusion, forming, or similar production equipment is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn equipment operations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and production specifications.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively in a production environment.
Compensation & Schedule
- $20.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
- First shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.
- Full-time, onsite position in Harlan, Iowa.
