Welder (MIG/TIG) – Direct Hire | Harlan, IA | $24 - 30/hr Excellent Benefits
We are hiring a Welder for one of our clients in Harlan. This is a great opportunity to join a growing manufacturing team offering strong pay, full benefits, and long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on fabricated metal components
- Work with aluminum and stainless steel materials
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Lay out, position, align, and fit parts for assembly
- Tack-weld, bolt, clamp, and assemble components
- Operate hand and power tools (grinders, impacts, etc.)
- Use cutting equipment such as plasma arc and acetylene torches
- Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and accuracy
- Repair and rework parts as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards)
- Follow all safety, quality, and production guidelines
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of MIG and TIG welding experience in a fabrication environment
- Required experience with aluminum and stainless steel TIG welding
- Blueprint reading required
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Welding certification or technical degree is a plus
Work Environment
- Manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, fumes, and moderate noise
- Physically active role (standing, lifting, climbing, kneeling)
