The Role
Join our team at Merensky Timber, Cape Town Depot, as a Stock Controller and help us manage stock levels, ensure secure storage, and oversee the smooth dispatch of timber. Qualifications:
- Post Matric qualification in logistics / supply chain management
Experience:
- At least five years’ experience in the stock control function
- Experience in the timber industry is recommended
Knowledge and Skills:
· Strong understanding of warehouse operations
· Experience with ERP systems and relevant SOPs
· Interpersonal and conflict management skills, with experience in relationship building
· Product knowledge relevant to the timber industry
· Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Excellent numerical and organizational skills
· Strong planning abilities to prioritize tasks and maximize output
· Effective interpersonal communication skills
