What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at CapstoneONE Search?
We are representing an industry leading organization within the Renewables/Energy sector who is actively seeking a Controller due a recently announced retirement. This organization is a domestic leader in their space and pride themselves on an outstanding culture predicated on benefits, compensation, and employee satisfaction. The Controller will report to the CFO who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Candidate will report to the CFO and will have a strong working relationship with General Manager.
- Responsible for leading department of 2 direct employees and over $100M campus.
- Review and analyze plant inventory transactions
- Responsible for leading month end close process
- Analyzes financial data obtained through studies to determine effects of costs on business
- Provide executive leadership with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures
- Participate in projects and support CFO, VP/GM, and Operations Leadership.
POSTION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field is required. Advanced degree/and or certification preferred (CPA, CMA, MBA, MSA, etc..)
- Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of Accounting Leadership experience or a "hi-pot" who is ready for the next step in their career
- Experience leading month end close process
- Targeting "Business Partner" with General Management/Operations (in context to "resource")
Salary : $125,000 - $135,000
