MercyOne is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Hospitalist team serving patients at our Cedar Falls and Waterloo campuses. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional inpatient care.
Position Highlights
- Schedule: Flexible shifts with a mix of days/nights; no outpatient responsibilities.
- Team Environment: Work alongside experienced hospitalists and a multidisciplinary care team.
- Patient Census: Manage acute care patients in a supportive setting with specialists available for consults.
- Technology: Utilize EPIC EMR for streamlined documentation and communication.
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care, including admissions, rounding, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary services to ensure quality outcomes.
- Participate in care coordination and transitions of care.
- Licensed NP or PA in Iowa (or eligible).
- Experience in acute care or hospital medicine preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently within a team-based model.
